1976 S&W rear engine hard tail dragster 331CID SBC $13,000.00
S&W rear engine hard tail dragster with 331CID SBC. This vintage 1976 dragster is modeled after one of Don Garlits successful rear engine dragsters. The dragster is a good starter car, good consistent bracket car and capable of running super comp times and speeds. (8.901 @ 147.888; 8.903 @ 148.253; 8.890 @ 148.930; 8.792 @ 149.778) There are only 79 runs on the engine, transmission and rear since the last rebuild. The chassis passed certification back in 1998, but will need helmet tubes and seat belt supports in order to pass the next chassis certification. Please see below for more details.
